how many ferrets can you house in this cage

This cage is suitable for upwardly to 2 ferrets. At minimum, a muzzle for a pair of ferrets should be twenty inches long, 20 inches deep and 40 inches broad, but the bigger the improve. Multi-tiered cages are preferred, but ferrets tin can get injured falling, specially during play; hang ferret hammocks virtually upper level edges. It is important to note that they volition need plenty of action time outside the muzzle.
is this fine for two - 3 female person adult rats?

This cage is non suitable for a rat. Information technology has bar spacing of i inch, which is too large to safely contain a rat. In general, it is recommended to house a single rat in a muzzle no smaller than 29 x 15 x 18 inches, with a bar spacing of 1/2 inch at nigh.

This habitat would not be safe for a republic of guinea pig, as they should mainly take a flat, long cage. We also carry the Kaytee Deluxe 2-Level Republic of guinea Pig Muzzle that may be of interest.

an ok cage for rats
At that place's not a lot of adept points to clip on hanging hammocks or toys, and the doors are a bit harder to open. Don't get this cage for anything younger than a full grown rat, my two girls can stick their whole head between the bar. Boys wouldn't accept enough space in this cage as my girls seem to run out of stuff to do quite quickly. I needed a cage that would suffice their infinite needs rapidly and with a budget and this did the trick. Included a photo in comparing to critter nation

Awesome cage!
I have 1 ferret and I've tried 4 different cages to find the perfect one and this is the best cage we've had and then far!

Cage too Pocket-sized
I bought this cage for my ferret, as it was advertised equally such. He got too big for both slides and was unable to use them. Ane of the ramps never was able to snap together no matter what I did and information technology isn't suitable for hanging any hammocks as he would oftentimes fall off of his. Dominion of thumb: Never buy Kaytee products. They are ever poor quality.

Missing pieces
Ferret loves it but information technology was missing pieces when we got information technology out of the box. Only nosotros are making information technology work

Perfect for Ferret!
I needed a cage to replace what my ferret came with. This one was a peachy price and is super spacious for her. The ladder does pop off sometimes which is unfortunate, the clips eventually bent and got as well loose. The rest of the shelves are great, well placed and plenty of room to hang several beds. The bottom is deep enough to hold in her litter with very little mess and it'southward corking to take on wheels for cleaning. The doors are pretty catchy to open at first and require a little bend in the bars to make for easier opening for my kids. She'south super secure, hasn't gotten a single hand stuck and my cats can't get through the bars to steal her food either. Definitely recommend.

Great muzzle!
Other than the muzzle being hard to put together due to it being plastic clips it honestly is a great muzzle for ferrets. Also you take to curve the hinges on the doors to get them to open up hands, but my two ferrets are very happy with this new abode. Great size and fun colors

Not for minor animals
This has been an ok cage, but i recently bought two baby rats and they squeeze through the confined with no problem. Its too non very good for hanging stuff upward for your pet. Theres no mode to hang unless from the top, and the setup doesnt allow for rearranging annihilation.
